Microneedling Face Treatment

Best Microneedling In Leamington

Microneedling face treatment is ideal for all skin rejuvenation such as fine lines, wrinkles, open pores, and blemishes. By improving the skin cell strength the results are firm, smooth radiant looking skin.

Microneedling treatments noticeably improve ageing skin in just one treatment for glowing skin instantly.

The microneedling stimulates the production of new collagen, tightens and firms the skin and evens out skin tone without removing the epidermal layer of your skin which makes it safe to treat all skin types.

What is a microneedling face treatment

Microneedling treatment is a fantastic advancement to microdermabrasion or microcurrent for skin rejuvenation because it addresses your skin cell strength not just an instant plump that fades.

Collagen and elastine production
Hydration + brightening
Reduces fine lines + wrinkles
Skin tightening + firming

Microneedling Face Treatment

Microneedling treatment, also known as collagen induction therapy, is the penetration of tiny thin needles into the skin at various depths from approximately 0.1mm to 1mm. This targets the hypodermis layer to cause an inflammatory response that triggers the natural production of collagen and elastin.

As the needles penetrate, they cause trauma to the skin. This stimulates the fibroblasts (the part of our immune system that binds the skin together) and triggers a natural healing response that boosts the collagen and elastin that are made naturally by the body.

To enhance the results of microneedling there are two types of treatments. The options are to either add mesotherapy serum or radiofrequency energy. You can have both but just not at the same time as the high level of focus energy from the Radio Frequency Microneedling will destroy the active ingredients in the Mesotherapy Serums hence there are two types of Microneedling skin treatments - but both are equally as wonderful, effective and long lasting when looking to improve ageing skin.

Microneedling Skin Treatment

Microneedling is the most effective non-evasive facial treatment you can have to improve your skin health. It's a long-lasting pro-aging skin treatment and especially good for issues like lack of tone, loose skin, and improving firmness. I've also seen fantastic results on large open pores,  pigmentation, and historical scars.

It can be used on all skin types and unlike microdermabrasion and skin peels, you can have micro-needling at any time of the year without any risks.

Microneedling Face Treatment [FAQs]

Microneedling face treatment also known as collagen induction therapy is the penetration of tiny thin needles into the skin at various depths from approx from 0.1mm to 1mm depth. The effects of one single microneedling treatment will last anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks depending on the quality of your skin health.

The results from a course or skin treatment protocol will last anywhere from three to six months.

For many clients, the consistency of regular treatment 6 to 8 weeks apart will maintain the effects of the microneedling last long term.

Taking good care of your skin through a conscientious at-home simple skin care routine can help preserve your results.

A feeling of redness for 24 to 36 hours.

Your skin may feel warm and tight for one to three days. During this period, use delicate cleansing milk and recovery creams.

The best advice is to avoid swimming, strenuous exercise and excessive sun exposure during this 36 hours window.

Initially, your skin will feel dry after a few days, but as your skin cell turnover removes your current skin and relieves the new skin influenced by the microneedling you will begin to feel softer, firmer-looking skin.

No, not really, it can feel uncomfortable during the treatment. Some aestheticians will apply numbing cream to help reduce the sensation.

The pain from microneedling is often more on the forehead and thinner skin, you will feel an overall pain but it is not like having a needle put into your arm. The cartridge of needles is moving (oscillating) so fast that you can hardly feel the individual needles.
